OK so this may sound very silly, but why don't Omega drivers wave to each other?

My pal has a morris minor, whenever he sees another moggy on the road they flash their lights and wave at each other.

A miggy is only one letter away from a moggy so shouldnt we do the same? lol

I always wave at other omega drivers (I wave at lots of people but that probably becoz I'm retarded) and all I ever get is a confused look from a middle-aged man who looks incredibly miserable. we have such a fantastic cheerful community online so why not in real life? I'm sure there must be other oofers than me on the south coast between worthing and southampton...

I'm gonna get some owners forum stickers once they are back in stock to help with this terribly sad state of affairs and maybe some brass oof badges...

Miggys are becoming more and more rare (outside the scrapyard lol) so, like with moggys, we should acknowledge eachother for our nice cars, should we not?

It's funny. I wave at other Lotus 7 style cars when I'm in the Westfield.

Mrs. KW waves to other MX-5 drivers in her MX-5. I don't, much to her annoyance.

Not sure about in the Omega. The problem is, you look a right window-licker if you forget what car you're driving and wave at the wrong one. ;D

Hi Bappy
If you see a green Omega with a rear spoiler and a cherished number plate near Southampton, and 2 oof tax disc holders in the window, you will def get a wave off me.
I no what you mean about the blank looks some people give you. If you really what a strange look, drive an old Omega (me) and wave at a newish facelift Omega, and watch the driver look down his nose at you.

I get the occassional wave or flash from some Omega's but not very often. It seems to happen more with cars that are either unique or rare so perhaps they're not quite "rare" enough yet. ::)

A friend of mine had old vw bugs and they waved at each other also i think you might find that the new vw owners wave at each other but only if they are in golf's and bora's etc.
I think we should wave at each other as it has to start somewhere :y

I always wave, flash (THE LIGHTS) and sometime point... most just look terrified!  ;D ;D Either because they think there is a speed trap comming up.. or there is some loony waving at them  ;) :D
