I have acquired a DAB Transmitter, and instructions suggest sticking small DAB aerial to side of screen by the A Pillar, but I need to remove the trim to stick / ground one bit to the metal.

How easy does the Trim come off and go back ?

Thanks in advance.

Andy.

Fairly easy, though its a large piece from memory.

Again, from memory, undo 2 screws and remove grab handle, then it pulls off, needing slight deforming to remove from B pillar.

Make sure all metal tabs/clips are in right place and not deformed before refitting.

Thanks all.

I guess the Grab handle holds the top place in position then - Didn't think it went that far up to handle on roof, but I've never really looked or removed one  :D

I'll explore tomorrow  :y

I may want to "Pop" the little cubby hole / tray out to the left of the radio.  Is this simple to remove as well ? ??? (Mini Facelift model)

You can also undo the screw at the top of the best pillar to ease the removal/refit of the front trim... T25 torx hidden behind the alarm interior sensor/blanking plate.

Upon removal of the a pillar trim, retrieve the metal clips and refit them to the trim :y

Although it looks like 2 pieces, the A pillar trim and the trim between A and B pillars is actually one piece.

It just pops out, though you may have to remove radio & cage to give it a nudge from behind.
