CO2 Sensor
« on: 13 August 2008, 18:13:36 »

Anyone know anything about these? I have been having issues starting recently and this light appeared before the problems arose. Garage had it on diagnostics and think it is this sensor. Anyone had a similar problem and can offer any advice?

Sorry to be pedantic but it's a O2 (Oxygen) sensor. The ECU uses it to adjust mixture.

I had a guy diagnose one of these on a 1.2 Corsa years ago, because the output from it was wrong.

It turned out the fault was actually caused by the outside temperature sensor. The ECU thought it was very cold outside so the mixture was way too rich.
