Excellent.
I do miss my Omegas but not the filling up every time I went out. £23,500 in fuel? £2,300 per year average?
(petrol at say £1.2 x 4.5= £5.40 a gallon
Mine did 23 mpg so 100000 /23= 23,500) Think that is about right
Less if LPG'd of course.
As you may note from the invoice.. I traded in a 1999 2.5 Omega to get this one, simple reason was I wanted the 3.2 elite and wanted it LPG'd ... the car was purchased on the 28th January, and had the LPG conversion done 6 weeks later, 15th March.
Some folks know this was NOT the car I went to view, the idea was to get the "newest" 3.2 I could, as it was "LPG and keep", so went to view a silver 03 reg, there was nowt wrong with it but it wasn't saying "buy me" ... but this one, complete with full irmscher bodykit, was sitting there smiling at me ... and I couldn't resist ... rest is history ...
The LPG "record" shows that my total "savings" from using LPG for 10 years are £10,137.67 to date, (38% saving) and that is after taking off the figure for conversion, repairs and servicing that have occurred in those 10 years ...
