A quick squirt of star silver, in 2K base and clear, and nobody will be any the wiser. Harder wearing too.


This is an MGF wheel, but you get the idea:





That's almost an exact match with the rest of the trim, but you can't wheels that haven't worn through to the base plastic. Which was why that one was so cheap.
