Well , I can find very little info about what to do with the log book on either dvla site
when i brought the 2.6 ,the seller did it online after i filled the log book in ,he kept big front bit to send off , i had new keep supplement slip , I was shocked that a couple of days later the new v5 came
We set up a separate bank account to pay into on this transaction and buyer has the need to know details,
he's arranging collection sometime next week via transporter (which won't be cheap for him)
so tomorrow , I will be going to WAKE UP the Omega (lazy lard arse has been "resting" since paint n panels back in april)
at the in-laws and hopefully start using it ,park up the carlton ready for collection next week
payment should land in the account soon
1st ensure you have the money, when the buyer arrives, or ask for hard cash.
2nd fill out V5 as normal, then fill out the export section, then go online and fill out the same.
3rd wave goodbye,and count money.
Not sure you need to fill out the export section if its going to Norn Irn ?
I don't think its likely that a 2.0 is being bought to be thrashed. There are some very serious car collectors / Vauxhall fans in Norn Irn, and its probably being bought by one of those.
I heard about a VX collector there recently who has an almost complete collection of competition Vauxhalls, who is completing the collection by building e replica Baby Bertha, from the original drawings !
You could be right, had multiple offers to buy the ATS wheels (original vauxhall cross spokes) which was included with the car via messages
, I told the buyer of the carlton ,said if he wanted ,i would let let them be collected from me if HE wants he details of buyers and he lists them ,seems he wants them himself
