Wife's best friend is in the South of France at the moment keeps saying on social media how hot it is , just what did the silly cow expect !

I have a former sister who lives in the south of France. Hopefully its hot enough there to prepare her for the special corner of hell where she will spend eternity.  ::) :-X

According to reports at least 3 people have died on the continent because of this weekends heatwave.

3 people? In a population of over 500million? Why hasn't somebody done something about it? Portable nuclear powered air conditioning units for public spaces might be a good start.

One was a homeless person.

Last year during the 44 degc spell we had, a young member of a road tarmaccing gang died . I couldnt believe they were repairing the roads during that heat. There was an elf and safety hoo ha.

2.30 a.m. and it is cooler than last night but still 25.5C inside and outside.
