Loose copnnections, what are they for?

Found this behind the right kick panel. Three connections that are covered with card board and insulation tape. What are they for, doesn't look like something from the factory.

Possibly... Without looking at the diagrams/knowing what's fitted or not to your car...

Deffo factory though as they wrap the plugs to prevent rattling. Especially the 3.2s have full looms regardless of actual model/spec.

That ecu is the gearbox and the long plug next to it is for the audio/aerial and runs to the rear ;)

I found this when I was running new aerial cables from the sharkfin antenna I put on the roof. The connectors on the antenna, a aftermarket one, only had Fakra-connectors and none would fit the GM-connectors.

I have there (behind right kick panel) a relay which put the driving lights on after engine started and some other functions. Do you have that installed?

OK, clear, just wanted to check you know that relay. Actually I like that original relay as you can have the lights on at day time but when washing the windscreen water is not wasted to lamps - only if you put them manually on.

One is for the DRL relay.
One is for the folding mirrors relay.
One is for the drivers seat belt and 120 Km/H warning relay.
There could be a fourth one, that is the VDA connector.

120 km/H warning? In a car built for cruising the Autobahn at 170 km/H???  ;D ;D ;D
