Expensive if you have a fancy car and want named brand oil
the trade club semi is still cheaper from TB's fave internet auction site @£38 for 20L delivered  :P
 Reminds me of a story I was told
the landlady of a local pub had a new sporty merc
someone told her to top the oil up , she did
took loads of oil to do

she filled it till the filler cap was brimmed  ;D

I did actually buy some Full Fat Castrol Edge a few years back in Halfrauds, they had priced it up wrong and put it on a Special Offer Bin, something like £6 for 4 Liters of the stuff, think I picked up about 10 items of it, then had the usual Riff Raff at the Till as it wasnt showing up at that price, anyway cut a long story short the Manager did actually let me have for that price in the end, I still remember now being helped to walk out the Shop whilst they were quickly removing stocks from the Bin.  :D

I did an Oil Change with the stuff on my Irmscher Elite, quiet a bit later Serek bought the Car off me, first thing Serek did was to change the oil, as you do, but I remember Him commenting on the Change, He said that the Oil that came out looked brand new  :o

The VS50 Code is still working today, also today you can also use FLASH50 which gets you 50% Off Oil and Filters.  :y

There are 3 VX Dealers near me that sadly wont do Trade Club anymore (TBH I gave up my TC Card some time back), my nearest one did offer to open a Trade Account (Not TC) but did warn me if it wasn't used on a regular basis it would get nuked.

In another breath, same Dealer said He would consider opening a Trade Account as an OOF option as long as I managed or guaranteed the payment side somehow, yet to be defined, but they would only deliver locally ('ish) and not Post so kind defeats the excersize.  :(

I cant comprehend why people piss about with egay for this sort of stuff. Too expensive, and my issues getting the right stuff delivered in a sensible time frame are well documented.


Ordered some standard 10w40 semi (and some more expensive stuff for the Pussy) at 11:30, £24.99+VAT from dealer. It was delivered by 14:30.
