Computer Help

Whats the best program to burn ISO images with.

I allways have a DVD writter in my machine that has Nero Express on installed that came with the Burner.

Tidying up a hard drive I found and old ISO but have no idea what is is.  Nero does not look (maybe wrong) like it supports it.

TIA.

A link for any programs would be appreciated.   :y

UltraISO is very good. Not only can you read the contents of an ISO, you can unpack them too. Probably not worth $30 for just one ISO, but I find it very usefull. It's here
UltraISO Site
if you are interested.

[edit]Or, for the cost of a CD-ROM you could burn it. Have a read here:

Nero Express is a cut down programme usually supplied foc with burners.  I have always used Nero Burning Rom which has no problems handling ISOs.

Nero Does support ISO files, you just need to select the 'burn an image to disk' option. This then asks for the location of the .iso file, and allows you to specify a location, or browse files to find the one you want. This can then be burnt to disk (CD or DVD, according to which media you selected when Nero opened.

This then burns a disk you can run on your computer.

Hope this helps  Skruntie!  :y

Will try later.

Just setting up a computer for a mate after a format and reinstall.

Just been told he is away for the weekend so gives me plenty of time to test and play.

Mine needs the same treatment but I cannot format it at the moment as there are some login details I cant remember and I dont want to lose the accounts.

Nice to be playing on a fresh install again though.  :y

Starting with Nero 7, Ahead seemed to have lost a grip, so I stopped using it...

Last install I did was 5.5** or better.  So miles away from version 7.

Maybe time to buy a new burner, this ones a Pioneer 110, dont even know what they are up to these days.  as tou can tell I very rarely use a writer.

So, If I go out and do some shopping, what burning software do I need.

Time for catch up me thinks.

TIA   :y
