Can you not run it through Wine :-?
For native Windows only apps, I'd use Windows (whether dual boot, or via a full hypervisor type system), rather than sluggish emulation such as WINE...

I think losing a laptop will mean you automatically qualify for quite a few jobs these days.- senior civil servant/senior nhs manager/natwest senior I.T. manager.  ;)
