Joined up (RAF) 1 December 1970 and I leave on the 10 September 2008 ... nearly 38 years later .. :)

Being in the 'job', albeit as a gadget, in those days had very good fringe benefits.  :)

I was probably running away from Golfbuddy !!!!!  Remember those days of police cadets  ;)  Remember the nursing cadets too  :y  Happy days 8-)

In Uniform or Civy? that is a long time in uniform, guess you must be an air marshall or something like that.
Good for you, days seem to be gone of peeps staying in the same Job from school to retirement. :)

In uniform ... Got my "Warrant" in 1988 and have been a "Warrant Officer" ever since ... :)

Lived on bacon buttys, chinese take aways and beer all weekend.
Almost got arrested for scavaging wood for the nightly campfire.
