Ours has needed cutting since about October. With the relatively warm winter it's been steadily growing since then. Trouble is it's now so long, and the weather has been so wet that it never dries out. I'm not convinced our mower will be able to handle it, and even if it can I'd expect it to fill the green wheelie bin before I've got it half cut.

And being half cut seems like a state I need to be in, not the lawn.
