Fine for the pony club set, 1tn for 2 ponies, 1tn horsebox. Plenty to spare for.... horsey sh!t. 

That said, I reckon most buyers have it because they want the look of a FFRR/Sport but don't want the fuel bills that go with it.

Stripped the centre diff on the Kraton down today, after it was a bit raspy on hard acceleration and intermittent no drive.  The gears had dislodged, but seem pretty OK, so put it back together. Ever so slightly notchy, but I'll give it a go before replacing it.

This car has had a bad run, as the last 3 runs have ended in breakdown.  Admittedly the first of those was a broken shock after hitting a tree fairly quick .  Last 2 have be diff issues.


Still, keeps me out of mischief.

In other news, I was somewhat clenched on Sunday, when one of my £1k quadcopters disconnected itself from the transmitter during a mission upload when the app crashed, and it proceeded to bugger off on its potentially incomplete mission.

Fortunately it reconnected itself some 15 minutes later when it was nearly home again.  That had the heart racing for quarter of an hour .

Need to replan that mission, as the footage and pictures weren't good enough (it was done for one of Mrs TB's craft courses). Need to take some brave pills as well first!

And a lot more damage can done with 7.5 tonnes of oppsed Cargo than a Disco and trailer.....

Do you ever race/compete with the RC stuff, or just go and play with yourself - as it were? 

I used to watch some races as a kid, never had the money to get into it though.

Yep, and without ever exceeding 22.5 MPH nor allowing the following traffic to get a glimpse of an overtaking opportunity ahead, too.

Oh, and I forgot the choking them with obnoxious blue smoke from the prehistoric diseasel donk that hasn't been serviced for 10 years.

We're about to start a full six week lockdown here in Ireland so with Mrs Olympia being high risk the gates to the estate are closed .....
So , I've just about completed a new PS4 racing SIM with some mods to the Logitech G29 wheel ,pedals and gear shift  , external handbrake and new screen .
A couple of new games on the way will allow me to whittle away the time locked up.
We're all wee boys at heart ....

I used to watch some races as a kid, never had the money to get into it though.

I used to competitively race electric off-road buggies, but slowly got more dragged into helping run the local club and on race days often ended up missing my heats due to being short or Marshalls or needing somebody operating the timing computers, or helping some of the younger members fix their cars. Plus to be at the level I was getting to was starting to become ridiculously expensive, and sponsorships were rare back then.  Essentially you would cook the new £40 batteries on your charger, perfectly timed some they would still be over temp as the start signal went off, to get that extra punch from it. After a couple of weekends like that, all those packs were shagged...   ...ignoring the ones that catastrophically let go during the race because you did overheat them, always an impressive sight

Nowadays, I tend to be on my Todd, or pre lockdown with a few mates.  With the cars normally we're blatting about like kids, rather than racing. The chap I usually go (pre lockdown) flying RC stuff with, we tend to only have one craft in the air at a time, whilst the other one spots.
