And...while we're on about slimy, leftie radio/tv presenters, Nicky Campbell makes me want to kill someone, preferably him.

The list of TV / Radio presenters who arent left wing is a very short one. It got even shorter last week when LBC dumped Farage with immediate effect, because he wouldnt comply with the MSM views on Covid and how things relating to it should be spoken about.
The only one who I can think of who is pretty objective is Andrew Neil. He knows they are all tossers and wants to prove them as such to his viewers.
We dont see much of him on TV these days though.

Does he think this black life matters?  ;D ;D

https://youtu.be/mWeQZWySo-4
Every single thing he did in that clip was deliberately designed to provoke a negative response...which only reinforces the general concensus of his character.

There's a german sounding word that escapes me...

Oh, and it's categorically not a race 'thing', I wouldn't take her home to Mother...

I'm now quite ambivalent about the whole black lives matter thing .
I had utmost sympathy for the deaths of the most recent people in US whilst being arrested but that's a whole 'ked up situation/country  over there .
I'd begun to be very irritated by the constant media coverage and that we should all be forced down on one knee begging for forgiveness for things that occurred 200 + years ago until this ..

How does a banner stating white lives matter warrant such condemnation ?
Are others not allowed to voice their feelings too in the aftermath of a multiple murder by a person of different ethnicity .
Is it only black lives lost at the hands of police officers that are allowed to be brought to our attention ads nauseam.
Is it really so offensive to state the obvious .
Do the non white community have copyright on the English language .

The bame's of this world seem to have cleverly manipulated the situation to a " if you're not with us you're against us and therefore a racist " scenario .

I thought they ditched him because he kept saying that BLM are a hard left anarchist marxist organisation?  ???

Which they are of course.  ::)

Out of curiosity, how many black (or the rest of the BAME bandwagon for that matter) people are there in Eire?

4.9%* of 4.9million people. Or 240,000 people.

*that doesn't include the 2.6% who don't know, or the 0.7% Caravan Club members.

I had to look out of curiosity.

I couldn't tell you the % , very small I'd think.
I don't know any bame's living/working here .
There is a small islamic community in Killarney , not large enough for a grand mosque but I don't see that ever being built anyway.
We have a centre in the town that houses asylum seekers and they can be seen glumly walking the streets . I actually feel sorry for them being sent to this corner of Ireland . The opportunities here are very limited , not because of the fact that they are non Irish bame's but simply due to the fact that there is very little , if any , chance of being able to get employment and contribute to the economy. We have just recently had a cafe chain with food manufacturing facility serving it and the local schools and hospital , go bust losing 47 jobs . That is a significant figure down here .
We have an Eastern European quarter which is almost entirely on benefit.
The Locals ,although not showing any outward negativity to bame's ,will always display and apply a preference to those they know and grew up with. I'd be of the belief that that criteria  would apply in most of rural ireland .
The Irish are a very welcoming people but I believe that you have to show willingness to fit in with their way of life and not try to change it.

Which is how it should be. If you choose to emigrate to a country then you have to put the effort in. You become accepted by making the effort. Flip side is that the locals accept, and respect, you on the same basis.

Aye but that’s just the point they want to change and they are achieving it everywhere. We can’t even voice our concern for fear of being called  racist, hard right, etc 😡 imagine going to a Middle Eastern country for example and trying to change them, you wouldn’t live long, and imagine complaining  about their statues and throwing them in the river, but it’s normal here now..................
