Unfortunately the standards have been lowered so much to gain entry to the Police & Prison service they are employing complete morons , that is one of the reasons I decided to retire this month from the Prison Service after 23 years some of the new staff have absolutely no interpersonal skills  but on a phone or pc are exceptional but doesn't cut it when working  with psychopaths , wouldn't trust many of them to cover my back in a confrontation,.as for talking selfies it doesn't suprise me in the least .

Knowing one or two youngish members of the Police service, it doesnt surprise me in the slightest.  The eothos of what the job used to be about is dying unfortunately.  :(
