Boris is an idiot, again. There is no way he should have mentioned a date today. Within five minutes of him say schools could possibly open, if conditions were right and if it could be shown that the vaccine was stopping people transmitting the virus, head teachers were on sky news saying it was great they now had a date to return and they could start planning. People only hear the date, they do not hear the ifs ands and buts. He should know this by now.
If things are not right by then, he will be accused of a u turn, again, and will probably be too scared to retreat.
Cue another lockdown, back to square one.

We barely go into a lockdown & then people want to know when it's ending are some folk that stupid ? Surely the figures speak for themselves , I really despair with a lot of the human race.

Me too, but theres a lot of it about and TB isnt allowed to carry out his cull, so it seems we are a bit stuck.
Different subject, but the same kind of people, in that the level of stupidity is mind boggling.
A work colleague rented out a boat he owns in Watford to a nice young couple who needed somewhere to live for a while.
They gave him £50 cash deposit (all they had on them) and promised the rest would be in his bank the next day.
It wasnt, nor the day ofter that. they werent answering calls or replying to texts, so he started getting nervous.He went onto the boating equivalent of OOF and asked people in the area if they could take a look for him.
First reply was "Im sure I saw that boat heading towards Uxbridge yesterday. with lots of smoke billowing out the back:
This worried him even more as he warned them not to move it as the engine was running rough and needed new injectors.
Someone who doesnt mind a bit of aggro volunteered to have a look around Uxbridge waterway, and sure enough found it parked up in a secluded spot.
He went on board, woke them up and gave them two minutes to get off the boat, which they didnt argue with.
Now the bloke who wouldnt answer his phone etc. is bombarding the owner with texts about how disgusted he is with the manner in which he was woken up and slung off the boat with nowhere to go.
Owner replied "You stole my fickin boat you lowlife scum etc. etc.
Apparently that isnt relevant. Its no excuse for how he was treated.
"Youve also wrecked my fickin engine you moron".
"Dont care, Im still going to report your mate, for his threatening behaviour". 

Point is, what hope is there for the future, when "people" like that are allowed to wander freely among us ?
