Simple really. Leave planet earth in an extremely fast spaceship. Then return a couple of years later to find the world has moved on several thousands of years, and everyone you knew has been dead and gone for eons..

I love a good Sci-fi but have not flicked through this. I must make time.

I'm currently reading a hardback copy of Too much and never enough, by Mary L. Trump. To say she enjoys giving her uncle Donald a good kicking is something of an understatement.

Ms Trump reckons uncle Donald is a pork pie short of a picnic to the point of being mentally deranged and unstable.

No they are not, and were not in the case of Hitler!

Both were disolusional, carried away by their ego created by early successes in their careers that soon turned into an uncontrollable mania that can, and did, destroy life whilst devoid of reality.

Traits which are often evident, to a greater or lesser degree in successful people. 
If Im going to time travel I dont want to end up years in the future. I want to go forward just enough to get the numbers for the nest big Euromillions, then go back in time a few decades and carry on as if nothing happened.
The question is, would it be better to have known then what I know now ? Or not know now what I didnt know then ?

a better plan would be to write down winning results of things like the football pools/ bets/etc down, then go back and get a the cash and have spent the last 30 years much richer 

but if you go back in time and alter things it never goes/ends well .there have been a few films about it 

may as well just deal with whatever **** life throws at you
