The course of true love..
« on: 14 December 2020, 20:49:53 »
...never runs smooth  :o

Covid: Man jailed for Scotland-Isle of Man water scooter crossing https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-isle-of-man-55280466

I'd have let the lad off. Over 4 hours on a jet ski followed by a 15 mile walk. That's akin to an extreme sport.

Not sure how a "carefully planned journey" could result in "real risk"  ;D

Fair play though, if she doesn't marry him after that, she's a thespian.

Never ridden one before either. In love or mental, or perhaps both. :)

His mates have blatantly dared him to do it. Like all proper blokes he would do something for a dare (and a decent shag) that he wouldn't do for a tenner.

Something doesn't add up, 25 mile journey when even the crappest jetski tops out at 40 mph and how can a jetski hold 4 hours worth of fuel ?

No wonder he got sent down... His lawyers defence was that he "clearly had mental health issues"
