Haven't seen it or recorded it , but will watch on catch up been toying with the idea of getting a Monaro need a "toy" for the summer loads on eBay for reasonable money.

The original 5.7 Monaro was always a bit 'limp-wristed'

Only about 330 BHP, and the meagre amount of torque was high up in the rev range.

6.0 version much better.

They start north of £10k. Anything less is usually rusty or knackered and bought for breaking. Engines alone are worth more than a nice Omega

Watched it , Monaro performed reasonably well but just looks a bit too Astra lookalike,  the TVR  sounded terrific but know all about the problems with them as my brother had one.
