DHL
« on: 04 September 2008, 15:32:30 »

Looks like my cambelt and water pump may not be getting done this weekend  :(
I ordered the bits from buypartsby online on Sunday I thought that this would have been enough time for them to get to me as it says 2-3 day delivery .
Nothing has turned up so far today so I have checked and found they have sent an email 12:37 today saying the order has been proccesed .They have supplied a DHL tracking number which  I have used and it says
HSD out for delivery awaiting IOD
This is dated today anyone know what it means please  :question

Would say it was due to arrive soon --- however, from my experience with DHL, where it will arrive is open to debate !!!

I think IOD is possibly "information on delivery"

Give them a ring and tell them you are going on holiday 1st thing in the morning, then they will ring the driver for an ETA.   :y

I must have been lucky - ordered mine from buypartsby online on a Sunday and they turned up on the Tuesday am.  Well impressed.

DHL aren't too bad in my experience.  Tend to use them for ebay and their DHL48 is usually there in 24 hours which helps me get good feedback lol.  Not lost one yet either lol (don't anyone read that out loud please, we don't wanna tempt fate).
