Horrible all week in Lincolnshire windy & wet , managed to dodge the showers for dog walking though.

I met up with an old mate in Sidmouth this afternoon for a drink.

Heavy seas, howling wind, driving rain and cold.  It was more like February than late May!  :o  :-\  ::)

At least we were allowed inside the pub.  :y  Although I got a bollocking for forgetting to put my mask on when I got up to go to the loo!  ;D

Yes, it will be interesting to see how Brits fare with remembering to wear there masks the minute they leave the door when they go to Spain this summer. Mind you the Spanish gov are muttering about relaxing rules on masks. Wouldnt be good press fining tourists……

Apparently 100,000 Brits are flying to Spain this week for their holidays despite it being on the amber list?  ???  ::)

I wonder how many will stay at home for the required 10 days when they get back?  :-\

Next traffic light list review is 7th June. Maybe those going are hoping Spain will be on green list by then. Spanish PM is. Vaccination rate is going well and infection rates are dropping.

Maybe those going are pensioners to whom isolation on return wont be a big issue?

Masks are a moot point if the majority of people are vaccinated.

The irony of having to wear one out walking the dog but being able to take it off in a cafe near other folk isn’t lost on me each day.
