My advice is to not count on using them as a PC display.  If you do, then you may want DVI instead of HDMI.  HDMI only supports a few resolutions, and the native resolution of LCD tv's is not one of them  >:(  However, playing DVD's on a computer through the LCD tv does work well  :)

Try this link, click on reviews, then select LCD. Came up with 734 ( :o), each with a downloadable PDF!:

Or you can go big but cheap with rear projection.  Not quite as bright, but very nice for the price.

Our lounge isn't huge, so happy with 26.  Thought about 32, but don't miss it.

I replaced that crap Sony CRT with a nice 37" Dell which came in at around a grand.

I was quite fussy on a couple of things that limited my choice, as Dell wasn't my first option. I wanted DVI for the MCE machine, and I wanted detachable speakers. The Dell was the only one I could find, and reviews were good.

It has a blue LED on it (I hate blue LEDs  >:() and the remote lights up blue as well  >:(

Good picture and audio easily a match for the CRT Sony it replaced...

I've not seen one yet above 32 inches that looks really good.

They all go blocky on screen pans and fast action.  Unless they're true HD with an excellent HD input source!

That was something I was concerned about, but it seems not to be a problem....

I got a 32" samsung LCD last month, HD Freeview etc. Nice telly. I'm sure the picture has improved with use. Did get a 40" to start with but looked rubbish as sofa is 9 ft from screen, so don't go too big on LCD
