Just passed one of the local petrol stations on the way home and noticed the price /litre is €1.67 ( £1.41 ) up from €1.52 last week . That's quite a jump even for this little country .
We don't have town gas down here therefore all heating and cooking is either LPG or kerosene So it'll be interesting to see what heartache is just over the horizon.
Burning turf was commonplace but cutting it has now been banned by the government although it can still be had . Smells lovely but gives out 'ck all heat .

I bought thirty 40KG bags of dirty black Polish coal last week and have five tons of seasoned Oak, ash and birch stacked in my barn couple that with the 450 litres of kerosene that I had the presence of mind to brim my tank with last month means that not an ounce of f\/ck will be given through winter from this little " Neidin ".
