I went to a high society wedding in Kampala many years ago in my yoot, and they had a group of very attractive dancers doing a traditional Ugandan dance, which is probably best described as synchronised twerking! 

It was quite mesmerising!

Well..... no! 

But I did chat to one very attractive girl for a while until someone whispered to me that she was the daughter of a prominent government minister!    As I'm sure that people have been found face down in Lake Victoria for less in that part of the world, I decided that discretion was the better part of valour and  withdrew to live and love another day!   

She probably ended up shagging the whisperer!           Maybe he ended up face down in Lake Vic.... 

The other thing that stands out in my memory of that day was the wonderful hairstyles of the Ugandan ladies.  Many of them were works of art that must have cost fortunes!

I expect it was all that youthful action that caused my knackered hips!     

It's OK, I'll get myself a pair of nice new titanium hips and then I'll be as good as new! 

Might die waiting for the NHS though....

Quick update! 

I never did get round to ordering the patches online, but I popped into a larger branch of Boots on Saturday and although they didn't have the patches they had a tube of cream/gel which is the same stuff in the patches for £2.25 on special offer. 

So I bought a tube and every evening have been lathering the stuff all over my hips and upper legs and lower back, and tell you what... I am in less pain, less stiffness and feel a lot more flexible! 

It does pong a bit though....
