I did notice that Sheeran was playing a Lowden guitar though, which was nice to see.
George Lowden is a very old friend, who first made me aware that the best music wasnt what I was watching on TOTP on Thursday nights.

I can say with my hand on heart that I've never knowingly listened to a Ned Sheernin song and stopped listening to Reggie Dwight after "Madman across the Water " , which incidentally was a superb album .

I have nothing against Sheeran. He seems a nice enough lad, and imo is moderately talented.
Im just bemused that he is a global phenomenon. I can only assume its because of a great absence of real talent these days.
