To top it all the bumbling buffoon & his missus have just produced another sprog, another party on the way no doubt ..😂

 ;D ;D ;)

............and I reckon now it is well on the cards for him to go on long term maternity leave after doing an Anthony Eden! ::) ::) ;)

Should that be 'paternity'?

You never learn, do you? It will be whatever he they want it to be. Neutrality leave has a certain ring to it.

And another thing; Boris and Carrie seem to have decided their offspring is female. Surely that's up to the baby?
From now on we must say that a child has been born, it's sexual preference will be be announced at a later date.

Transphobic bastards.

Some woke cretin made this very point to Usain Bolt when his wife/girlfriend pushed out a pair of twins. They selfishly decided to go with the sex and gender the kids were born with. ::)

You're confusing sexual identity and preference. Two very different things.

Given that we can now self identify as what ever gender we feel like,  if my partner popped out a sprog could I identify as a woman and claim maternity leave as opposed to paternity leave?  ???

I'm thinking about the financial benefits rather than the benefits of wearing a dress and some lippy to be clear.  :)

You keep saying this, Nick.

But for 99.9% of people they are a matching pair.

In my yoot, I always used to go to fancy dress parties in drag.  The girls loved it and couldn't keep their hands off me!  :y

Ignorance is no defence. Never has been.
Unfortunately, it mixes well with stupidity.
Garnish that mixture with truculence and you have a powerful, but useless combination

As a matter of interest what proportion of people in the UK do you think were 'born in the wrong body'?

With a bit of reluctance I will just give a brief answer:  up to one in 5,000 is one of the latest estimates, but many just suffer in silence until death, either deliberate, accidental or because they cannot face the ignorant abuse they get if they "come out". ;)

I see no reason why you couldn't claim for both. :y :y
