No, definitely covid. I'm happy with that.  :)

If anyone offered him the jab he'd be gone like a bat out of hell.
He would have done anything to stop catching covid be he won't do that.[/highlight]

Two out of three ain't bad.

To add to the masks, and this is really ridiculous, the school has now received nine air purifiers. Wifey looked online and they are £1900 each. Jeez.......

Plan B measures dropped and we have to live with Covid (or die with it  :-X)
the WHO and top scientists have said don't just treat Covid as FLU ,it's more serious AND mask wearing is very important .
Record number of 6-17 year-olds being admitted to hospital with Covid
highest ever infection in the community .
Another variant twice as transmittable as Omicron spreading like wildfire.
Every new infection is a possible mutation .
No one can guarantee that new mutations won't get more deadly despite the optimism .
no one knows the long term effects of Covid or vaccines

So £10,000 spent on reducing Virus and improving air quality in the air in a school is peanuts*

*Compared to hospital /NHS costs , Teachers & parents having time off work etc etc

Went to board my flight to Milan on Wednesday, only to be told I had the wrong mask. Apparently my British made surgical mask isn't good enough  ??? and the Italian government have decided that only one mask type is suitable and they've made it law that all passengers arriving to or departing from Italy must have this mask.

Not a problem, there's a vending machine next to the checkpoint which sells the "correct" type for a fiver. Apparently if it sells out you can't get on the flight, even though you still* have to wear a mask inside the airport. Yes, I did use the same mask on the return flight :-X

The silliness doesn't stop there though. Once on the plane, Italian law requires that any loose clothing such as jackets/coats etc can only be placed in the overhead lockers if they are in bags, otherwise they must be worn or placed under the seat in front. Apparently this is due to Covid hygiene  ??? Wtf is the logic behind that? You can put bags in the locker that have been traipse all over the place but you have to put your coat on the floor because it's unhygienic  :o

Was nice to not wear a mask into Tescos.

*They made it a byelaw that you have to wear a mask inside the terminal buildings and airport buses which no longer reflects with the law of the land :-X

I imagine that when purchasing thousands of units the buyer asked for a discount and didn't just accept the "googled price"  ;)
9 units at 1 school ,there's a lot of schools  :P
