You would struggle to buy a set of genuine pads for that, let alone the cost of the MoT and the 30 minutes labour to fit them or the VaT on said parts and labour.

Either they have used the old pads or they are a front... because losing money at that rate won't keep the lights on for long.

It’s not a negative comment, but a fair question. ???

That said, if that and an oil change is all it takes to get another year out of it, then you can't argue with that...

Paid for 3 MOTs in advance for £69( so MOT equals £23) Ferodo pads £43.00 labour £45 equals £111.

That paints a much clearer picture :y

The MoTs are clearly the loss leader then... Cheapest locally is around £45 unless it is part of a deal.

The labour rate must be around £70 an hour plus vat and they will have made a few quid on those pads to boot. So fair enough, they've not short changed themselves nor screwed you :y

With the MOT included it seems like a good deal. :y

I recently paid £200 for  front discs and pads for the Signum. The brakes actually work now. :)

Seemed a good deal in 2019 3 MOTs for £69 all used up now though, the brakes are definitely vastly improved as well.
