Has anyone on here seen Cycling Mikey on YouTube? I think the way he challenges some of the arsehole drivers is great but can't help thinking one day he will pick on the wrong person & the situation will go badly wrong.

If I see a cyclist with a camera on their helmet, I know they are going to be an arrogant arsehole.

The key is to mow them down without it being caught on camera.  Then reversing back over them, just to ensure the job is done.

I have nothing against the majority of cyclists, just the arrogant Lady bitss. They are the ones with the camera.

They are the same people who drive Audis and BMWs badly.

I’m not entirely sure but I think that sort of action is frowned upon.  :-\

It certainly is in your neck of the woods...   ...try to use the pavement or pedestrian crossing when walking in Oxford, you will get a heap of verbal abuse from cyclists.  How dare pedestrians use pavements and crossing in Oxford.

Or VWs or Mercs.  In these parts, the knobjockeys are invariably driving VW or Mercs.

BMWs are pretty rare here now.

Cycling Mikey appears to concentrate on mobile phone users & those drivers that think keep left signs don't apply to them, the guy has got balls, and loads of prosecutions have been successful on his evidence he's great.

Thankfully I’m not near Oxford, and never go there, although I used to work on the outskirts. Where I live we all walk, ride and drive in harmony, with none of these silly road markings. In fact, now I come to think about it, we don’t have any road markings at all on most of the roads.  ;D

You should try Ashford town centre, where they followed a Dutch idea and removed all of the road markings, pavements and signs, then scattered random road furniture everywhere. The theory was that every road user would then be equal.

I don't think they meant every road user to be equally terrified that they were about to run over/be run over/etc, but that's what happened. Perhaps the actual idea was to distract attention away from the similarly notorious one way system?

Yeah. Right.  Me and the traffic wardens in your town have never been in harmony ;D.  One evening, I took one of them out for a drink and a bit of supper in the hope I'd get into her good books...   ...and she slapped a ticket on me the very next morning. Bitch ;D

In these parts, they have a real fascination with putting traffic lights on roundabouts, crossroads and junctions (because stupid stop/start cars can't pull out until rush hour stops), which causes tailbacks everywhere.  Except when the traffic lights fail/sabotaged/burned, when all the traffic flows freely, with a bit of give and take....

...until you get a VW/Merc driver ;D

Yep, just had a quick look on street view and even our High Street doesn’t have any white lines. As I said, we travel in harmony with others.  :y ;D

Oh, and no traffic wardens now, just a man with a pad and a pen to check you don’t park for more than three hours.  :y
