may be insisting in change is good idea.. Sure theres a law in UK protecting the consumers like here..if something is new and needed repair several times the seller must replace..

Its easier to get it replaced before you've accepted a repair ::)

Not according to Trading Standards or CAB ;), esp if you can prove the fault was there within first 6 months (and thus 'not fit for sale'), and as they came and repaired within first six months, they can't argue that one ;)

Sony 32" 7yrs old never had a prob with it wife cant wait for it to pack up so she can get one of those cute thin Lcd models  ... what every burglar loves coz it weighs sweet  F all & he can stick it under his arm took 2 adults to lift ours onto he stand hasnt been moved since (loads of dust behind it LOL ) :D

same here 32" sony, nearly 75-80 kgs staying in second floor.. Thats my quarantee..I want to see the burglars face when see the TVs size :o    ;D ;D

But really they love LCDs very easy to pack up and go..

I have the first 32" Wega 50Hz IDTV - been a very good TV, one of the first few hundred as well
