The majority of his backbenchers voted against him. Those on he government payroll saved him. So he is permanently weakened.
If there was a single half decent alternative candidate, he would already be gone.
As soon as one appears he will be knifed in the back and rightly so. He isnt fit to hold the office he holds, and demeans it every day he stays in it.
The die hard remoaners (Heseltine being a prime example) have announced recently that getting rid of him will give them yet another opportunity to overturn the Brexit vote.
Dont the cretins realise that the one thing thats certain to keep him in the job is the threat of reliving the most disgraceful episode in the recent history of British politics ?  ::)
As Ive said before. Its a Parliament of Pygmies, and that is what is saving him - for now.

The trouble with the remoaners, is that they simply cannot accept that the people they claim to represent disagreed with them, and they are still sore that the electorate had the audacity to vote to leave the EU.

Brexit happened. Accept it and move on.

I can't see Boris lasting to the next GE now. If 40% of his own MP's can't support him, then it's too easy for the opposition to claim that the British public shouldn't either. So the question is who, where and when the dagger will be plunged into his back. Two tricky byelections coming up, and less than 2 years till the next election. A new leader will want their feet under the table well before the next election. I reckon the 2019 red wall tories will start to panic about their own seats if Honiton goes pear shaped.

They can't. You're only allowed to stay in the EU for 90 days in any 180 now.
