The question isn't so much what's going on?  But rather is it genuinely a contrived ploy,  or rather, a series of unfortunate coincidences?

So fair play to her for asking the questions,  but try not to be hysterical about it... After all, totally unreasonable is the new acceptable.

I don't want new acceptable or new normal come to that, I just want acceptable and normal, and above all I want to be freeeeeeeeeee!  :)

I take it you mean freeeeeeeeeeze?

Not me. I'm selling up and mean to own nothing and be happy!  :y

I'll find somewhere with a nice climate so I don't have to spend 80% of my income trying to keep warm, somewhere where they're not bothered about Net Zero and somewhere not infested with woke shitheads.  :)

Don't know where that place is yet.  :-\  Maybe it doesn't exist.  :(  I'll let you know!   :)

Gran Canaria or Arkansas... Tennessee would have been my first choice,  but it's really expensive.

Or Flo Rida.  That certainly ticks many boxes.

Deep inside me there's probably a little red neck fighting to get out and drive a big pick up.  ;D

The Texas Gulf Coast around Galveston is cool.  You can fish for bull sharks from the beach!  :y

I get that Katie Hopkins is very much a marmite figure, but she's talking about facts in the video that Migalot linked. BA cancelling 10,000 flights, Amsterdam Schiphol airport reducing its capacity and France banning internal flights and ads for fossil fuels.  ;)

Katie Hopkins being Katie Hopkins there's a dollop of personal opinion sprinkled in, but she's entitled to her opinion same as everyone else and that doesn't mean she's wrong just because she's Katie Hopkins.  ::)

I think everyone should watch the vid before making their minds up. :y

I did Sir Tigger, and after which I came to the conclusion I expressed previously. ;)

Mankind will always come up with the answers to meet the urgent challenges of today, as it does in war time, and find the answers to do what it needs to do.  The scientist and engineers are already urgently working on it as apart from doing the good we are required to do, their will be profits to be made out of it! :D

Like so many, I do not need uneducated, in this field, idiots coming out with doom and gloom statements, instead of looking at the facts of positive, specialists in this field, people taking action already to rectify! ::) ::)

Oh yes. If I was younger and not tied down, Florida would tick many boxes for me right now. One of the biggest draws is the Governor Ron deSantis.

Here he is yesterday calling out the woke ESG globalists.  :y :y

Would probably make a good POTUS.

Florida is trying common sense whilst California (predictably) is seeing just how far it possible to go down the unhinged 'Alice in Wonderland' rabbit hole.

A combination of the WEF mixed with digital ID, in the form of the CBDC (central bank digital currency) added to cash being a thing of the past may mean we end up with little control over our own lives.

I very much doubt we will be able to buy what we want, when we want, even if we have the money. :-\

Hopefully I'll be six feet under before before this happens.....if it happens. :-\
