Bojo was/is essentially a lib dem. I think most of his decisions (such as they were) were made by Carrie who would withdraw sexual rations if he did not comply.
That is a real problem which also applies to the Labour party, and it's caused by
our first past the post system. There are many members of each party who would be more representative in a centrist third party. That includes most of the Prime Ministers and party leaders for the last 70odd years. Just look how little differentiates Johnson, May, Cameron, Blair and Major actual politics. And it's not difficult to put Brown and Thatcher on the edges of that block.
What ought to happen is the centrists form the government, and the others gain or lose influence depending on the political mood of the country at the time of a general election. This would improve each party's internal unity and effectiveness, which none of the three (currently more like two and a quarter
