Following Kwasi Kwarteng's sacking and the announced hike in Corporation Tax from 19% to 25%, analysts at Goldman Sachs have downgraded the growth outlook for the UK economy saying a "more significant recession" is now expected. 

After the IMF's initial negative intervention after the 'mini budget' and then later admitting that the tax cuts would deliver increased growth, it will be interesting to see what they say about the Corporation Tax hike and the rumoured delay in the 1% cut in Income Tax. 

Also, I've seen speculation this afternoon that Jeremy Hunt will increase VAT by 2.5%!    Admittedly though it's just lefty 'journalists' who are probably just putting any old 'dangle berries' on Twitter to stay visible.
