They came on a 2nd hand set of wheels I bought so I could get my wheels refurbed.  They are shit.  Not even Sir Tig would drive on them, and he's the king of "black and round and MOTable"...

Soot checkers have bucket loads of torque, but no BHP due to a sub 5k rpm limit...

I just had to nip out and check what's on the front of the V70 as I had a sneaky suspicion that I have Landsails.  ::)

Close. It has Sailun Atrezzo's costing about sixty notes each and I've not ended up in the hedge yet!  :P  :)

It came with them and they have loads of tread, so they are staying on there for a while.
To be fair, its great in the dry, but much care is needed on wet / damp / greasy roads.

I remember when I first had my auto Desmond estate. That had some (very) budget tyres on the back, brand new. Wanki maybe, or Landsnail. Sideways around every roundabout anytime there was a sniff of rain. Got a bit tiresome on the morning commute though, forever arriving at work with my coffee in the passenger side footwell.  ;D

Is there a reason(s) why a derv lump can't be made to rev like a proper engine? ::)

Anything to do with the higher compression ratio of diesel?

Some boffin on here will know. :y
