The Dentist....had to go for a check up today, swmbo and me. We had an 11.00am and 11.20am appointments respectively. We got there early, they were not busy (empty) and we were out having a coffee in Banbury at 11.00am. When we moved over here, we registered with this dentist in Banbury, and although they have NHS plastered over the front, we were told we couldn't be NHS, but could go private. They do two tier private, so we had the first tier. Today, the price for a check up had gone up to £59 and to cap it all, when we tried to make an appointment for 6 months time, the b******s wanted £20 each deposit.!!!!! I told them to naff off. It may not seem much, but why should they have our money in their bank account for 6 months >:( >:(
So many people just don't bother turning up, Tony, a bit like restaurant bookings. At least they get £20 if you're a no show.
Our dentist (NHS) charges £20 on top of the next appointment fee, if you make one.
You're posting a lot in "What has pissed you off today", yer miserable old bastard. Fickin cheer up  ;D

Well, everything is pissing me off at the moment. Swmbo is going round like creeping Jesus, cuz she can barely walk, waiting for a hip operation. The aviary roof has started to leak, the Omega needs repairing, the gazebo roof has ripped to shreds in the storms, Boiler gone tits up (bits on order) so no hot water. Anything else...oh yeah, her Micra needs MOT if it will get there without disintergrating, it'll fail, needs four new tyres. Yes Steve, its a world of joy here ;D ;D ;D

Yodel  not delivering a parcel yesterday as their tracking said it would be and site not updated from yesterday so I don't know when it will arrive. Tried live chat and can't get any response past "  You'll be connected to one of our team" or words to that effect.

The fact, that despite Chiltern making me leave a night out stupidly early due to their crap Victorian technology, I still seem to have a pretty bad hangover, FFS.

I'm guessing it's an age thing ;D

Just got in from a weekend trip to Newcastle Gateshead Hilton, enjoy it and the locals were very friendly. Took five and half hours to get up there, seven and a half to get home the weather was very very bad to drive in knackered now after 360 miles 😳

East Midlands Railway - train journey from Nottingham to London, costing £160 return (with split ticket and advanced savings, it's usually well over £200) and no seats. Turns out when they got rid of the 125s they never replaced the capacity and even when the new stock arrives,  they are still going to be under capacity

Specifically the total opposing moron that joined the M25 from a slip road at 32mph. Fortunately I had somewhere to move to when the truck in lane 1 realised the closing speed was almost twice what the van was doing. How he didn't punt the van to the next junction will confound scientists for generations.

Generally the sheer number of total fructards out and about today.

People who don't use the slip road to get up to speed as they join the motorway or use it to slow down as they exit always get my goat!  >:(

I see that on the M61 on my way home loads of the times. The on-slip is plenty long enough but people still want to join lane 1 as soon as possible ... saw it last week end with a silly bint driving a VW camper
