I was in Brum yesterday as well. Didn't see you though!                                 

I had a nice wander around the Gas St Basin area in the evening, and popped into a nice canalside pub for a decent steak n chips, and a couple of pints. 

Today, I did what I went there to do this morning, then had an awful drive home down the M5 in hideous Friday afternoon traffic!

Pissed off to find that a combination of low mileage and my new found skill of not driving flat out everywhere means that my tyres age quicker than they wear out. 
The rears have 4.5/5mm of tread left but are starting to show the wide tyre/low profile cracks that I’ve become so used to now, so time to bin them.

Paid Bristol City Councils £9 climate scam charge for driving about a mile through the Clean Air Zone, in an attempt to avoid the M5 southbound car park yesterday.

Probably the nicest part of central(ish) Brumingham, couple of decent pubs there.  Be careful if you get bladdered, as one wrong turn, you can end up in "The Village"

Still here in a balmy 8.5c Aviemore today rather than Mallorca @ 35c ffs. Rung the estate agent in Mallorca mid morning and there is no movement on place over there at the moment? Decided to go for a beer before 5pm! Bloody loud crap music and what was worse was the cackling tattooed women with young kids running amok all over the place! What has happened to this country, discipline wise? I weep I really do!

Decided to go for a beer before 5pm! Bloody loud crap music and what was worse was the cackling tattooed women with young kids running amok all over the place! What has happened to this country, discipline wise? I weep I really do!

FedEx. I acquired another glovebox for the proper car which included the aux input gubbins and loom as part of the ongoing project... cheaper than getting the various bits new although they are still available.

Collected from Oldham and scanned it into the depot at Ramsbottom on 31st with the intention of delivering it yesterday.

Apparently it's not been seen since that scan... So either lost, damaged or stolen. An hour arguing with a chat bot only served to really piss me off, eventually managing to get through to an actual person for the online chat thingy. Case raised in a vain attempt to get the sodding thing delivered. Having worked for TNT (now FedEx), Don't Handle Logistics and Evri (parcel damaged) I have seen pretty much every part of their processes and have a n allergy to their BS.

At least eight failed attempts to do “ Captur”. Each attempt involves multiple attempts I.e. do it then it comes up with another, do that then another comes up and then error. Whose error? You get to the stage where you doubt your ability!

I don’ t want to access their bank account. Just see where my parcel is. Maybe they are worried that AI powered bots also want to see where my parcel is………….
