You should try J10 on the M25

It was OK when I went to Guildford on Wednesday. Slight queue getting off the M25 onto A3, and coming back, the usual 20m queue getting off A3 onto M25.  Certainly not that bad...


...unlike the A43 today. Morons closed it both ways between Towcester and Northampton with absolutely no signage it was closed.  So everyone, when they eventually gets to the roundabout, with traffic lights on obviously) suddenly can't go straight on and forced to go around...   ...only get held at the traffic lights to give way to non existent cars coming from the closed A43.  Chaos isn't the word.

But the useless, pathetic mongrels at the Highways Agency often close the A43 without warning or signage. Because they are self-abusers. Useless, moronic self-abusers.

But what has really pissed me off, aside from the 4hrs it's taken me to do a 35 mile round trip to the dealers is the useless oppsing dealers. Sytner in this case.

Not content with supplying absolutely shite quality parts (as sadly a lot of JLR parts are now), they won't replace the part. No, it has to be sent off back to JLR, who then send it off to their supplier to check, and once the supplier has it, they have 2 months to test it.  Only then can you get a replacement part.  So you have to buy another anyway. Which obviously they don't stock.

No, it has to be sent off back to JLR, who then send it off to their supplier to check, and once the supplier has it, they have 2 months to test it.  Only then can you get a replacement part.  So you have to buy another anyway. Which obviously they don't stock.

Possibly timing... It's normally Stop start from the A30. A clear run I can do in an hour ten/fifteen... But it can take twice that. Obviously it doesn't help when arseheads try to cut into the exit lane ten feet before it ends completely buggering up lanes 1 and 2.

Marshalls in Chichester can be, er, challenging but that's as much to do with the parts manager being a tit than anything else. Longest I have had to wait for a non stock item was about three months, but it was a piece of non critical trim. There's not much on the Proper car that can't arrive within a week, and even then that's only if it comes from the Fatherland.

It probably doesn't help that Jaaaag facelift everything when they run out of parts. Mercedes might be parts bin specials, but at least they only use one parts bin for everything. Jaaaag seems to use.whatever is available on Temu or Amazon when the car was built.

As the dealer wanted £60 for one, I did look on the Gay of E, but it seems all the non animated pattern ones have suddenly become unavailable.  Plus I needed it in a hurry.

Sadly, I go to Guildford far more often than I'd like, and it's generally not too bad unless something has happened.  The shittiest bit is usually the M25 around the T5 turning, then the M4 junction.

Cyclist[late teens I'd say]coming towards me on the pavement which wasn't wide enough for both of us to pass each other so I stepped into a pathway entrance well before he got to me to allow him to pass.When he did so there was absolutely no acknowledgement of thanks at all from him.

Olympics. Not just Olympics but French Olympics ffs !
I find almost all sport utterly tedious, but swmbo wont miss a minute of it. So Ive had to suffer it for a fortnight, or watch the little telly upstairs
Thankfully it finishes tonight, but not before four hours of the closing ceremony.  :'(
We actually attended the UK Olympics closing ceremony, where I had to endure listening to the Spice Girls sounding like five cats being strangled simultaneously, and still suffer mild PTSD because of it.
The tickets were worth £600 each if my memory serves, but would she flog them ? would she f...
