She is a very dangerous woman and has turned his head around backwards.
She has convinced him that the media and palace are doing to her what they did to his Mother. They arent.
She has a history of using people for hr own ends and then dropping them like a hot potato when they have fulfilled their purpose for her.
This includes much of her own family.
She is a manipulative controller. A classic sign of people like that is that they separate their victim from their family / friends / support network, then make them reliant on them and them alone.
This is exactly what she has done to him.
Its tragic really, but he is old enough to know better and see through it. Probably lacks the real world life experience though.

I wouldn't worry or be concerned about him , when it all goes south and she's moved on to the next big thing ( with the golden geese  ) he'll play the post traumatic stress card earned in Afghanistan and be welcomed back into the fold receiving all the help The Firm  will lavish on him becoming a beacon of success in overcoming that dreadful disorder .
He'll go on to a lifetime of supporting that cause and be washed clean of all the unfortunate and regrettable things he said and done when in that dark phase of his life ........

I can’t say that I have been paying any of it any attention, but the three above simply get on with their doings without any fuss and drama.
