This years climate jamboree snoozefest COP28 will be held in the United Arab Emirates and it's emerged that the government of the UAE have appointed Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber to lead the shindig.  :)

Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber is the UAE's Climate Envoy and also the Minister of Industry & Technology.  He is also the CEO of the UAE's state oil company Abu Dhabi National Oil Company!   :D 

Apparently this appointment has caused some consternation amongst the yoghurt knitters! ;D

Just reading that the Welsh rugby authorities have banned official choirs from singing Delilah at matches as it's about violence against women. It's a bloody song for Christ's sake. Will this stupidity ever end? Probably not!  ::)

Can just imagine the scenario. Go to match, hear Delilah, get worked up and go home and kill wife.  ;D If that's the case, we must ban all video games, T/V dramas, films etc. Still, it's something to get worked up by in our dotage, well, mine anyway.  :D
