My missus just reminded me that she did in fact have 2 Metros first a white one and the second in red with a set of cosmic alloys! Can't remember if it went any faster with those on..

Mrs TB's Metro was faster than any hire car. Well, maybe not, but it felt like it, poor thing.  Thrashed to within an inch of its life every time I got in it.  I think the Vanden Plas model got the MG Metro tuning on it, so had a handful more horses to whip hard.

Yep....In the pictures he posted here at OOF if is deffo seventies brown. ;D

Speaking of green the old boy from Scouseland had an Astra finished in projectile vomit green.
