Camera Repairs
« on: 14 September 2008, 20:13:23 »

Any professionals on here that repair/service digitol camera's

Mine seems to have developed an auto focus problem.  normally touch the trigger and it sends out the green light and sets it's self up, but for the 1st time today I couldnt get it to focus on all pictures  I think its a self inflicted problem as the camera has been left out in the car for about 6 weeks.

Any thought's or idea's on sorting it?

TIA.  :y

Carea is ready to be replaced but would still like to use this one.

Tis a Fuji S5000

Doubt it's worth repairing, unless very new.  Mine died a couple of months ago, was 5 years old.  New one at the same price is so much better!  :y

I would definately go the D-SLR route. You can get a second hand one on ebay for about £250.
This one has a buy it now for less than £250.
D100 on ebay link
Once you have the lenses, you just upgrade the body in a few years.
Having had a 'prosumer' Nikon 5700 and moved to a D80, the difference in picure quality is remarkable.
Even when they're posted on the net.

Just guessing ....   :(

Batterys did just that, powered up and went straight off again.

Problems were with a fresh set installed. :-/

Not knowing the camera ... does it have a manual focus option ??? if so has this been selected by default when you lost power ?? Does your lens have a man/auto selection .. mine do .. but its D-SLR .. :(
