I watched that a while back
I had 4 Carlton saloons ,great cars   
I stuck with 4 pots with mods  and avoided the "boat anchor" engines
I remember someone stuck an Omega V6 in an estate carlton

Same story for my 24v Sennie. Lovely car in every respect, but it got eaten alive around the rear end until it had to be scrapped.

I wanted a Senator when they were still badged OPEL .... I was never going to afford one though
