Farage has U turned and decided to stand for election as an MP. Also taking over the leadership of Reform from Richard Tice. Oh dear, Rishi 😂

Yes....but I also believe Reform can also take a significant number of Labour votes in the north. I doubt the people from the former red wall will give the Tory party their vote again.

So where does Reform stand on the US election?

I thought Farage was all for Trump?

Largely irrelevant. Trump will do what he did last time and run the country with the best interest of the US in mind rather than the interests of the Biden and Obama families and secondly, the WEF.

I don’t think so. People vote on wider issues.

The way the US goes has a huge bearing on us here in Europe.

But we go to the polls first. It's nearly six months until the next President elect is, er, elected. ;)

Ive just read on another forum that the Tories had some kind of election broadcast last night at 7pm.
They had footage of a Union flag fluttering - upside down ffs !
Says it all really.  ::)

There's no end of AI engineered shyte floating around, and very little of it is either genuine or accurate.

This might be even more of an issue than it was for Brexit or the last US election.

Basically ignore anything you see about the election and go with your instinct.

It was very amateurish, just sound bites with pictures of Tory politicians being tŵats up and down the country, lots of big letters on screen and crap music. Oh, and an upside down union flag  ;D

Clacton is known locally as Cracktown on sea. Its an absolute dump of a place, although some of the surrounding areas are nice.
We had a wander around Clacton for an hour about a year ago.
There seemed to be two main groups of people who hang around the town. The drug addicts and the alcoholics.
A shame but probably not untypical of seaside towns whose heyday is long gone.
