She was  MP for Hackney when Thatcher still held the reins (1987)

Bearing in mind the demographics of Hackney ::) she could still win the seat as an independent.

Well Sir Flip Flop has finally made his mind up after delegating the decision on whether Diane Abbot can stand as a Labour MP to the National Executive Committee who after a period of deliberation have said she can stand as a Labour MP and Sir Flip Flop agrees.   :y     ;D

God help us if he has to take a serious decision as PM that he can't palm off to some Quango or international body.  :-X

Maybe she has the beginnings of dementia, she has been incoherent on several occasions in the past, blamed it on diabetes.

Given that the hand she was holding the microphone with was visibly shaking all the time she was talking I'd say there's definitely something wrong[dementia/Parkinsons or such]but then I'm not a doctor so what do I know.
