Over the pond, Congressional Republicans have introduced the Dismantle DEI Act, a bill that aims to get rid of all the diversity, equity, inclusion roles within the Federal Government and ban federal contractors from requiring DEI statements and training sessions. Interesting.
https://freebeacon.com/politics/republicans-introduce-bill-to-ban-dei-in-government-federal-contracting/I saw an estimate the other day that here in the UK about £500 million a year of taxpayers money is spent every year in the public sector on DEI jobs, training and programmes.

And God alone knows what is spent in the private sector, especially in the big Blue Chips.

Not much chance of getting rid of it all with our apparent shainy new Labour Govt though, if anything it will get worse.

Back in the States, I imagine there will be fierce resistance to this bill from the Democrats, but if the GOP do well in the election later in the year, all bets are off, especially if Trumpy returns.
Maybe the tide is starting to turn.
