Regardless, smashing everything up and using it as a loose excuse for anarchy serves absolutely no useful purpose.

Civil order needs to be maintained and people who are unable to abide by the law of the land need to be held accountable swiftly and proportionately, regardless of where they are from or how they came to be here.

Being white or otherwise and born here doesn't exempt anyone from those laws.

The thing that pisses me off is that my taxes are expected to pay to support stupid lazy arseholes with nothing better to do than burn down libraries and Greggs.

Bringing back the death penalty and removing ourselves from the ECHR would go along way to incentivising civil obedience.

There was a man beaten to within an inch of his life in Birmingham on Wednesday night outside of a pub by a gang of masked muslims.  There was not a policeman in sight, and it emerged that following 'discussions' with 'community leaders' West Midlands Police thought it was OK to let that community 'self police'. The police commander who made that decision has blood on his/her hands! 

They should be applying the law equally, without fear or favour and they're just not.

Indeed and I feel if these and others such as the Labour councillor spouting out hatred, such as cutting of throats continue with impunity, there will be a regrouping and things will get far worse. We’ve all said this was coming for years, but unfortunately the various governments are far too stupid and failed to understand that people are pissed off. There again they could have some sort of agenda? Being controlled by aliens? ( there are humans who can fit this criteria) there’s just got to be something going on, everyone can see it apart from the ones who have the power at least to try fixing the problems. I agree that all this rioting is bad, but the majority of these people have nothing left to try, continuing to try for the governments attention falls on deaf ears, I’m afraid there are many now who are of the mindset that enough is enough and feel it’s all they have left wrongly or rightly.

Nobody is making excuses for violence Al, just criticising the two tier policing.

In my opinion, the police have a lot to answer for with their heavy handed tactics.  People saw the police run away from the Roma gypsy mob in Leeds, yet when they took to the streets to air their grievances, they were confronted with aggressive baton wielding riot police, dogs and horses.

Maybe if the police took a consistent approach to demonstrators, this might not have flared up quite as badly. 

In other news the Starminator is now having people arrested for their comments on Facebook and X.  Mind how you go.

They announced yesterday that a second police officer will face criminal charges.

Meanwhile the two thugs who attacked the police officers are enjoying TwoTierKeir's 'fast track' justice system and are out on bail holding press conferences. 

I wonder if we'll ever get to see the CCTV or any footage of what happened in the Starbucks that caused the police to track them down to the car park in the first place?

That's not entirely fair or accurate. A lot of people around the Commonwealth earned the right to be British during the Second World War and are respectfully established here.

If you mean distant relatives of people from various regions of the northern periphery of the Indian subcontinent sponsored by legitimatish older, established family members then you should say as much.
