Within the last couple of years it has changed beyond recognition.

We still have 3 banks, but only one is open
3 charity shops.
A strange sort of 'army surplus' store run by 'foreign gentlemen' using the old Woolworth store.
3 pizza shops.
3 pubs, but only one in use.
Superdrug.
7 Turkish barbers. Yes seven. That seem to have come about almost overnight. I wonder how they managed to get this past all the council regulations.
