The "General chat" is what it says on the tin. Despite OOF being a car based forum we do have the use of gen chat to share jokes, good/bad days & general opinions. Lizzie like some of us has strong opinions on certain issues & i did'nt always agree with her. However she was never rude or offensive which is why i enjoyed her company & accepted her views regardless. I'll miss her if she decides not to return but respect her decision.
As for the other ex member in question i've said it all already & stand by it.

hummmm

I have NO idea what has gone on...  :-/

This is just an internet forum, chill out!
Ah! Tunnie talks sense at last :y

Yes this is just a car forum - and a bl**dy good one as well!

However I agree with Entwoods comments as it is all about your perceptions of what is posted.  My perception that certain posts were over dogmatic and condescending are probably different from other members perceptions of the same posts.  Whatever my perceptions were I would not knowingly reply in an overtly offensive manner - that only pushes the other topic posts in the same direction.

If i disagree with a post i will say so - just as others have disagreed with some of my posts.  But its down to opinions and perceptions - and we are not all the same so we will not all agree.  That is part of debate, discussion and life!

But this is just a car forum so FFS chill out, loosen up and have a laugh at some of the funny things that people post.  Lifes too short to be a miserable s*d - unless of course that's what turns you on :-/

Cut the over serious krap, loosen up and move on - thats my message :y

I think people should chill out. People get this keyboard warrior mentality when on internet forums and I don't just mean those throwing insults. We are never going to get on with everyone we meet being in forums or in 'real life', thats what makes life interesting, people having different views. It makes me wonder how the people who take insults or digs to heart ever got through school! If some one says something you don't like or has a pop at you take it on the chin and move on. Life goes on and its certainly not worth getting hung up over something as trivial an online lovers tiff.

I still maintain this is the best car forum out there, hence why I still post despite having had to sell my mig 6 odd months ago. Trust me theres a lot more chance of getting flamed in the BMW forums, its all my c*cks bigger than yours attitude, same in the Audi forums. If you want an easy going forum, this is it!
